Deven is a Qualified Chartered Accountant from India, and carries over 15 years of diverse experience in the global and domestic capital markets. His core expertise is in Investment Management and has successfully managed large portfolios in global and domestic markets across asset classes and currencies. Funds managed by him in India have won awards in the past few years.
He has been featured several times on Business TV Channels. He is a prolific writer and his write ups on various investment related issues have been carried by leading national business & regional newspapers as well as global websites. He also has been covered by leading international business magazine Forbes. He has delivered speeches at number of national and internatinal seminars & participated in forums organized by global entities like Dun & Bradsheet and Indian associations such as Confederation of Indian Industries ( CII). He was one of the "Financial Stars " in a book published in 2009,that carried the life histories of people from a particular community who had excelled in financial sector. His last assignment was with Quantum Mutual Fund as the CEO & CIO, where he successfully launched India’s first Gold Exchange Traded Fund with the smallest denomination (only ½ gram per unit). Funds directly managed by him at Quantum consistently topped the rankings in its peer category.
